For anybody sane who doesn’t want to watch the video, I’ll describe it.
When Melania starts talking about Donald Trump’s empathy, as if he has a lot of it, the crowd starts laughing a little, and Melania can’t hold back her smile. Then, Donald smiles really big and gestures towards the crowd, which makes the crowd laugh more, and Melania smiles even bigger.
By the way, the empathy they were talking about was towards our soldiers who are risking their lives and even paying the price for Donald Trump’s stupidest war ever.
Basically, everybody in that room, including Donald and Melania, all betrayed that they knew Donald Trump has no empathy for anybody. He doesn’t give a shit about soldiers dying. And they’re all okay with it. It’s funny for them. Let’s just let Melania go on with her speech that everybody knows is nothing but propaganda.
They do not see most of us as actual humans. So, who cares if a few of us get blown away, or tortured, drowned, deported, beaten, or robbed? They are above such plebian dalliances.
There are only two types of republicans: the evil ones who are in on the joke, and the stupid ones who simply accept what they’re told. The prior includes the willfully ignorant. The latter can still provide votes (for now).
Yeah, same thing with Putin. His dismissive attitude toward the soldiers lost in his own war… Trump would happily send a few million of his own American soldiers to their deaths if he wanted to, for even vanity reasons, and it wouldn’t even register.
I just can’t trust my fellow Americans anymore after this. I’m surrounded by losers.
I honestly believe that Trump would send our soldiers to die for literally no reason if he could. I think the idea that he can kill people on a whim and suffer zero consequences… I think that feeling of power must be intoxicating for Trump.
I also think that part of the reason he’s been kicking all of the hornet’s nests around the world is that he wants to have an excuse to nuke somebody.
