    That’s also why liberals often confuse the simplicity of discussion when talking to Marxists with the actual depth of discussion had on the USSR, percieving simplification due to liberals not being as familiar for a lack of nuance on the Marxist’s part.

      How much of a breakdown do you think the average liberal would have if they knew about Soviet concepts like the creche system that allowed women to attend university full time comfortably while raising a child, or how hard the HDI and life expectancy collapsed in regions like Poland and Russia when the Soviet Union collapsed.

      Poland’s HDI still hasn’t recovered.

        i bet you’d have to do it using the frame of reference that americans are familiar with; likening it something that some similarities – even weakly so like the fmla – could help as a start.
