The United States has never once suspended elections; not even for the Civil War.
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same
-Presidential Oath of Office (empasis added).
Just not these:
The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States
-Article 1, Section 2
The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years.
-Seventeenth Amendment
And the people demand you get your ass out of office and into a grave. Guess what, cheeto. Only one of those things is going to happen, and it isn’t the cancelation of elections.
