I guess it gives them a couple weeks of blessed relief but I’d want 4 trillion up front in Gold and bit coin, control of the strait, the end of all sanctions and a copy of the unredacted Epstein files and a video of Vance fucking the couch that will be released if they start the bombing again and they stop supplying Israel and pull all US bases out of the middle east.
I imagine Iran is just going through the motions to show that they’re not being unreasonable. When the US exposes themselves as they inevitably will, it’s going to be clear to the whole world who is escalating.

Kind of what I expected. Iran has all the cards here, and the US was already starting from a poor negotiating position due to Israel’s aggression against Lebanon. Iran agreeing to anything right now would have meant taking a loss for no reason.
