Ahh, yeah websites are getting more stingy about adblockers I noticed. I went to one website and when I tried to go past the popup they literally just blocked the page at the gateway for my IP I guess cause it reloaded with a full error.

Publishers got trapped by the low cost and convenience of programmatic advertising. Now the revenue on web sucks and they have no 1st party sales team to get private deals on placements like static banners. Google AI Overview literally killing off traffic by 10-20% or more.
Creative solutions will be needed for many publisher businesses to survive.

There’s a non dismissable popup on the client browser I was using. Opened in another browser and I was able to view it.
