    The person I replied to never said they were attending. I was pointing out the fact that changing a cog in the machine doesn’t change how the machine operates. If you want to change how the machine operates, you need to dismantle the machine

      not going to discuss theory, I’m assuming I’ll agree with you 100%. but if it’s ok for me to be nitpicky, changing a cog or a critical part can completely change the machine. change its speed, torque, and direction.

          oh, I didn’t mean to disagree, just was nitpicky about the metaphor.

          i agree that a small change in the system isn’t going to do squat. the entire system needs to charge. or if anything, reformed so hard it’s basically unrecognizable.

          my only complaint, is that a tiny change in a machine can change the entire function of the system. IE, just disagreeing about the metaphor.
