I don’t think so. They support anti-western international policy but I think the consensus is that it’s a reactionary capitalist hellhole and Putin is a POS

For exam this Hexbear thread where even one of the Hexbear moderators says “I would very much like to see [Putin] shot in the face.”

I’ve never been to Russia, but none of the Russians I’ve met thought that.

Maybe the ones who think that stay in Russia, but I feel like you just made up a person in your head.

How good must that shower feel? After a year of fighting in all-season mud and debris. Seems a valuable psyop for Ukraine would be to target the showers. Keep them miserable.

But all the tankies in .ml assured me North Korea is a freedom paradise and North Koreans are free to travel at will and do whatever they want in every country that isn’t the USA. /s

I’m not exactly going to defend the .ml crowd’s positions on North Korea, and certainly not going to argue in favor of North Korea’s living standards, but in all fairness, this really is more on Russia than North Korea. I doubt that Kim Jong Un said “and one shower a year” when cutting his agreement with Putin.

In all fairness, we’re talking about two violent dictatorships. Why are you giving either the benefit of the doubt when the topic is human rights violations?

Considering how much hazing goes on with their own peers, it looks more like the Russian military experience has cruelty built in.

I would say that’s NK government should feel angry about how their people are being treated by Russia. But the NK government doesn’t give a shit about them either.

I guess these workers are luckier than the NK soldiers being sent to the Ukraine war front to be cannon drone fodder.

Experts eh? And then were the soldiers shot for not having Dear Leader’s haircut, and then brought back to life and shot again for mimicking Dear Leader?

Showers are limited to one or two across a year, an investigation by the Hague-based international law foundation Global Rights Compliance revealed.

If you wanna attack the source then do that, don’t vaguepost.

Everything is true about North Korea, even contradicting statements by South Korea and Radio Free Asia. We have always been at war with North Korea. Rations were always 16 onces.
