    There is no precedent of postponing elections in the U.S. There were elections even during the American Civil War.

    Of course precedent doesn’t seem to mean a fucking thing these days.

      All that means is it’s yet to be set. That’s it. No one’s done it yet. Keep relying on laws and an old piece of paper to protect the US and there will be plenty of new precedents.

      There was “no precedent” before for a a LOT of things that are currently happening right now. Precedent isn’t going to save us.
