Honestly if a very strong Democrat were to emerge and say in very clear terms that they are planning to be their retribution, and if people believe them, I bet it’d be quite a wave.
Retribution for anyone responsible for ICE - starting with the very top, down to the perps at the bottom. Retribution for breaking and entering on Social Security. Retribution for those bribing politicians (like Musk). Retribution for rolling back clean energy initiatives that would make things better for all Americans. Retribution for wrecking so many institutions. Retribution for attacks on our media and our universities.

Yeah, Newsom looks like (he’s white and male and given where things are at right now I fear anything not that may not get enough votes. He’s also tall. Americans seem to fall for that, a lot.) someone I’d want Democrats to run, but I’d want him to be more progressive.
