Haha good one. February 31st doesn’t exist. It’s 30th February - best date as there are no other conferences held at that time, to ensure best attendance.

I kinda like the implication of html being a programming language. Cause if it is, then svg would be as well.

TBF, people have been programming with XML and JSON, YAML and so forth for a while. From XSLT to Ansible.

I mean I’m stirring shit because the former is actually useful but java and JavaScript are both shit so they’re not wrong.

My main job is supporting ServiceNow. I understand JavaScript now far more than I should. It’s a garbage “language”.

I support a Java program and the majority of people call it javascript. Not confusing at all that a built in “language” for it is called thinkScript lmao

This would be funny if it wasn’t so sad and frustrating and deeply horrific and exhausting.

This is actually a super fun concept. Make sure the sign up is super long, several pages, multi-paragraph replies expected for general admission. Make sure there’s a VSCode sign up API and extension. Host the conference now, but on the promise that you’ll be able to acquire props and supplies for it at a later date, at least 1 year out.
