The USA has just dropped to 29th, its lowest position ever, in Transparency International’s corruption index.
With a score of just 64 out of a possible 100, the USA is seen as much more corrupt than nearly all other developed countries.
This is Trump’s America

Hot take:
Most US corruption hasn’t even been proven yet, or is essentially legal today, so it doesn’t even show up in such statistics.
The statistic shows corruption perception, if people think there is a lot of “unproven” or “legal” corruption, it would show up.
On a corruption index, shouldn’t 100 mean entirely corrupt?
Either way, the US doesn’t look good, but this seems to be an integrity index.
