A leading U.S. health official on Sunday urged people to get inoculated against the measles at a time of outbreaks across several states and as the United States is at risk of losing its measles elimination status.

“Take the vaccine, please,” said Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services administrator whose boss has raised suspicion about the safety and importance of vaccines. “We have a solution for our problem.”

Oz, a heart surgeon, defended some recently revised federal vaccine recommendations as well as past comments from President Donald Trump and the nation’s health chief, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., about the efficacy of vaccines. From Oz, there was a clear message on the measles.

The head of HHS, RFK Jr, famously killed a bunch of people in Samoa by lobbying against the measles vaccine. And Oz himself has anti-vaccine stances toward a number of other vaccines. Seems like consistent messaging may be helpful here.

The worst part is, RFK is cynically playing people, this is part of his personna, his public image, while he personally takes vaccines, his kids will have taken the vaccines. He’s playing everyone.

That is what I’m saying even though I didn’t know that detail. He’s just playing a part for his own benefit, he’s a nihlist in the same vein as our other leaders, they believe in nothing, only personal advancement. Money is the end itself, money is how you “win.”

Meanwhile the truly great see money as a means to an end. Ends being things they actually believe in for reasons other than personal aggrandizement.
