As the Times noted, he said that “he regretted not ordering the National Guard to seize voting machines in swing states after his loss in the 2020 election.”

As the Times observed, “Mr. Trump’s expression of regret … was … a warning sign that he had not given up on the idea that voting machines were dangerous or that they could be seized in an effort to curb fraud.” We should take that warning seriously.

So far, the leaders of the Democratic party have not. They have focused on mobilizing to compete successfully in November, but have done little to ensure the election is not rigged through executive action, intimidation, or interference with vote counting.

It’s almost as if the system is working as intended…

I’m so sick of voting for the least evil. Democrats slowly move things to the left while carefully following the law. Then Republicans come in and smash everything with a sledgehammer.

Revolution is pretty much inevitable. If we can’t get what we need to survive legally, it isn’t going to be very fun for anyone.

Are you looking at the same country I’m looking at? From the outside it looks like they’re a right wing party being dragged gradually rightwards by a far right wing party.

Democrats just come in wagging their finger all like “Now now now, you know that was a bad bad thing to do, Republicans. We’re going to pussy-foot around the law and not make as radical of a change as you did. We’re going to stagnate and follow the law, taking our time to clean up your mess you bad little boy” in a very motherly tone.

Democrats as a party have never shifted things to the left, they talk one thing while tossing us stale table scraps then vote like Republicans. That’s how they’ve gone from people like Jimmy Carter to denying a genocide, that they are paying for, is occuring. If we overlaid today’s political scale with the political scale from 1980, Democrats would be to the far right of Ronald Reagan. 40 years of liberal “lesser evil” has actually been incremental fascism
