The assertion was a brazen effort to toss out the traditional boundaries that have long existed between the White House and investigations conducted by federal law enforcement.
This is how they make sure they get their cut, and can prosecute anybody who doesn’t cut them in.


What fraud? Why do we need somebody to investigate fraud? Wasn’t fraud eliminated by DOGE?
