It seems another fiber optic subsea cable was damaged in the Baltic Sea, this is not the same incident as the one in the Gulf of Finland a few days ago.
I’m wondering if it’s BCS-East or a different not publicly listed one. Can’t find confirmation yet.



Šventoji has had such incidents before. To me it does seem intentional, probably by Russia, but as of right now there’s little info. FWIW, this has NOT disrupted the local internet significantly.

That’s good to hear. I figured between Lithuania and Latvia there should be enough terrestrial routes for redundancies to work out fine.
