I think we’re all still holding out hoping that the midterms this year
The last time he lost elections he incited an insurrection. He practically admitted Elon cheated for him in 2024. He’s gerrymandering across the country. He doesn’t give a shit about the law. He will never willingly loosen his grip on power. By all means keep up the fight at the midterms but it will not save you. He will never leave that office or give up power while he’s alive.
He can’t personally travel to every polling location in 3,144 counties, he needs support to remain in power. Putin was able to hold onto power by shaming or removing his opponents and circumventing term limits, Trump has moved much faster and more recklessly than that. Maduro was able to remain in power because Venezuela was smaller and more centralized.
But IF you’re right, then you will absolutely have the best chances of convincing people to do something about it WHEN it happens. Make sure you vote for the opposition to the Republican party with the highest chance of success, because every vote counts.

The fact of the matter is the people who live in the USA have never seen a case of widespread voter fraud, and care deeply about elections and democracy. Trump attempted to and FAILED to overturn an election before. If it happens again but this time he stays in power, you can be sure more people than ever will hop down off the fence and march.
