Venezuelans that were very wealthy before the Bolivarian revolution fled mainly to places like Miami, similar to Cubans that fled from Castro. The US-backed faction is small but loud, and wants Venezuela to be recolonized so that they can take their position as compradors once again. The working classes support Maduro and the Bolivarian revolution.
