The original source of the article is Bild, a German tabloid. I don’t see this story relayed on other reputable news outlets.

Big red flag for me. Let’s see how things are evolving but I’ll be skeptical until then.

They did a very good job, many of the OSINT work goes unreported. Example: people like All Eyes on Wagner, Casus Belli, Sonarrow, Debunk Cafe have been tracking Russian trafficking yellow cake out of Niger when most news outlets care fuck all about Africa.

I am so incredibly tired of the lack of response to Russia’s aggression. At this point I’m nearly convinced that Russia could mobilise a force directly into EU territory and nothing would happen.

Nonsense, there would be a sternly worded letter to the ambassador, a UN resolution vote to denounce Russia (Russia would veto), and possibly some sanctions on luxury croc exports.

If you read the article, you learn that the authorities never properly searched any of these freighters - that’s probably a more sensible place to start.

Conversely, you could disregard any semblance of what is sensible or proper, and have those vessels experience catastrophic failures while in deep waters.

They might be subject to that same mysterious force that severs undersea cables.

Fuck the Russians, but use their same attitude towards rules.

Exactly what I’ve been screaming for a few years now. Caught dragging an internet line? Hang the captain and the first mate, on the fucking spot, put the crew ashore at the next beach, take what you want from the ship, make it a new artificial reef.

These filthy fucking Russians are non-stop testing, as are the Chinese in the South China Sea, and now the US in the Caribbean. There are all pirates, treat them as such.

Might be a matter of style.

I’d be inclined to have it just sink under mysterious circumstances, no survivors.

Lots of mysterious circumstances that always tend to lead to a total loss of vessel, cargo, and crew.

Calm down Donald Trump. Can we arrest them and put them up for trial instead?

If the option is there fascists should be tried for their crimes. It’s important to outline all of their crimes to the public.

Obviously different circumstances if you are in an active war and the option for a trial is unavailable

And we’ll know they are fascists because they’re being accused of doing fascist crimes!

This link states, though I can’t verify this, that:

According to classified BKA (Bundeskriminalamt, in Eng: Federal Criminal Police Office, Germany) reports obtained by the team:

1,072 incidents involving 1,955 drones in 2025 alone (as of November 19). Forty-five percent occurred in evening hours. Drone swarms flew “almost exclusively over or near military installations.”

    Note: author checks out though.
