I understand not wanting anyone to go hungry just on principle, but can I ask about the general sentiment regarding the troops there? Are they viewed positively? I don’t think I’d take kindly to a group of foreign military personnel around my city, even if they were from an allied country.
They’ve been there for more than a generation, and they’re not occupying the country, they’re basically just a group of weird neighbors
Everything is normal when you grow up with it, and their contact with the troops is going to be exclusively when they’re off duty and likely looking to spend money
