Another shining example of Republicans being hypocritical, hypersensitive, lacking in any critical thinking skills yet again.
What the fuck does Charlie Kirk have to do with this? If anything, this should be about a tasteless response to our inept handling of school shootings. I’d rather they were offended about that.
Fuck Charlie Kirk and fuck Conservatives. I’m glad Charlie is dead. May he rest in piss.
Nothing to do with either Kirk or school shootings, they’re fucking math zombies for Halloween, something that’s been done for quite a while now.
As for school shootings, that’s actually kind of funny because the conservatives on my community forum actually deflected with that BS, saying that the teachers should have been sensitive to the rising gun violence in schools, and they didn’t like it when ask if they were all for gun control now to help clamp down on gun violence and then also hit with Charlie Kirk’s statement on gun control.
If conservatives didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all.
The shirts were purchased online and were also worn last year as part of the same math-themed costumes, long before recent events. For anyone questioning the validity that the shirts were worn last year, I am happy to provide the photo to you.
Good, don’t back down from pointing it out that it was a misunderstanding.
The shirts will not be worn again. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience and ask for your grace as we do so.
You learned to cave to ignorant bullies. That was the wrong lesson.
Rachel Keshel, a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives serving Legislative District 17 in areas within Pima County and Pinal County, released this statement.
As a proud southern Arizona legislator, I am deeply outraged by the recent reports of staff at Vail Unified School District donning costumes that seemingly mock the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk—complete with ‘Problem Solved’ slogans and simulated blood stains on the same side that Charlie’s fatal wound was on.
…
Recent alumni, including my daughter, have confirmed these shirts were not worn by any of the math teachers last year. If this is incorrect, I would like proof.
Official Arizona State legislature contact page in case anyone wants to let this moron know that she is a moron, especially when they’ve shown proof they wore this exact costume last year too.
These morons making it about Kirk for convenient points/rage bait/whatever are putting this school in harms way. I feel so bad for them.
The irony that the stations letters are KGUN
Tell them they are mocking the Minnesota democrats who were assassinated instead and see what happens
