[I literally had this thought in the shower this morning so please don’t gatekeep me lol.]

If AI was something everyone wanted or needed, it wouldn’t be constantly shoved your face by every product. People would just use it.

Imagine if printers were new and every piece of software was like “Hey, I can put this on paper for you” every time you typed a word. That would be insane. Printing is a need, and when you need to print, you just print.

Let us replace “AI” in that sentence with: soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant, condoms, cars, supermarkets…

Oh yeah you can hardly go outside with being bombarded by adverts for condoms. It’s everywhere. Being pushed on us by the news all the time, by our bosses in the workplace. Just CONDOMS CONDOMS CONDOMS. The New Google Pixel, now with Condoms! Every advert, even ones not about condoms, have condoms in it. Every company now describes themselves as condom-driven. Absolutely inescapable!

Yeah, I see them all the time on TV. They’re also right behind the counter on 7-Elevens, and I can’t get some Tylenol at a pharmacy without seeing them. Are you saying perhaps my own bias has led me to believe advertisement for condoms is more prevalent than it is? Interesting.

Not literally everywhere, no, that’s obviously hyperbole. But it is common enough to notice and be annoyed by it.

Sorry friend, but you’re both uninformed and delusional. And sadly confident about your wrong opinions.
