I believe everyone has fundamental rights. A slave deserves rights. A free person deserves rights. But there is a distinction between the two. One either recently fought for their rights or their parents or grandparents did.
Everyone deserves their rights. They are not earned or bestowed. Justifying any excuse to turn rights into privileges is just a tantrum. Grow up.
Except the right to party. That one you gotta fight for.
In reality rights are earned, often painfully.
