Read better next time, that’s 140 attacks against journalists. Not 140 attacks in total.
Investigative journalism website Bellingcat documented over 140 police violence incidents against journalists during the protests. The U.S. Press Freedom Tracker found there were almost as many press freedom violations in one week as for the entire year in 2019.

That is the biggest list I have ever seen on Wikipedia in my life.

And if they bashed a minority protesting against oppression? Which let’s be honest, is the more likely outcome compared to once in a lifetime event.
Advocating for the police to beat up people is not a win.

Those same police are the ones who bash protestors heads in with batons, lift their hood to block their cars cameras, and lie to cover each other. The bad apples have spoiled the bunch.

The police are also not the people you want to be on the same side as.

Misread that as “passive”.

It also ignores that he clearly did the authority to do it, by virtue of having done it and not being stopped.
Don’t go giving states the authority to do things, and they won’t have any authority to do things.
Authority doesn’t make an act correct.

Containment doesn’t work, splitting them up weakens them and makes it harder to congregate and build mass.
They also tanked the economy and had to go to war to stave off the impending collapse.
They also said “This guy really cares about Germany”, which is getting harder for Magats to pretend everyday.

It’s literally increased.

Some just grew the fuck up, had families, and no longer had the energy to sustain a life of protest. A lot of what drove that era’s visible counterculture was youthful energy. Young idealists eventually hit a wall where no matter what their beliefs are, they’re limited by reality in how much time, effort, and resources they can put towards their cause.
As a Millennial, I lost all faith in protest after millions and millions across the globe rose up to protest the WoT and inequality and were brushed aside.
I only have middle-age rage now.

Flawed premise imo. All those things you listed about Boomers were really Hippie things and Hippies despite their media prominence today were not that large a subset of boomer teens.
It’s like looking at Punks in the 80s and saying why didn’t the world change if everyone was anti-authority.

The same thing you should do today when they fuck over citizens.
You help educate others to join the cause and resist/fight back against injustice.

Fuck what a state says is allowed or not.
If being gay was a crime. Would you report your neighbour?
The headline misses that they fired her after they demanded she return to the office and she begged for a bit more unpaid mental health leave.
MongoDB the company who drives its employees to suicide?
What’s it up from say 2016?
