Abbott previously deployed 5,000 Texas National Guard troops and 2,000 Department of Public Safety officers during similar demonstrations in June.

I am fairly certain that MAGA crisis actors will infiltrate the protests this weekend to stir shit up and give Trump an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act.
