        Well, afaik cats don’t do this as much and/or it’s less pronounced (bcs of how the immediate expression looks like & that, from human pov, they are a bit autistic).

        I’ve seen more often cats do the threatening approach but then just sniff & pass by after a few seconds.

        And yeah, I searched for those gifs bcs the doors in the posts comic reminded me more of dogs barrier aggression/frustration.

    lol my indoor cats are usually big scaredy-cats when it comes to stuff like strange noises, strangers in the house, etc, but both of them have literally broken out of the house in different ways to try and fuck up feral/stray cats that have come too close to the house. I guess it’s just territorial behavior, but even my little 7-pound girl is a menace when it comes to strange cats.
