It’s not really good news though, is it? The majority won’t even bring it to a vote and it’ll die in committee. Republicans (most, but not all) are a cancer in Congress and we need some serious white blood cells.
Depends on how you sell it maybe. Tell people they want to use personal data that include networth or income to dictate food prices and you might get Republican support

Anyway, while I agree that Republicans are unlikely to advance it because it would help people and that’s a bad thing according to Republican politics, your absolute doomerism is also unhelpful.

I don’t know the specifics of her bill but if it it involves price fixing, history has shown that only leads to shortages.
