Sounds like a good idea but this seems to be mostly focusing on problems of the future. Maybe preventing new ways to rob customers but not really doing anything for current practices.
There are already stores trying to pin prices on retail items according to what they think the customer will buy. This isn’t widespread in use yet, but it’s not the distant future. It’s right now.
