Actors traditionally talk slower on film than people IRL. So I am simply bringing them up to normal speed. Watch Star Trek at 1.5x and normalise Captain Kirk’s dialogue…
I watch everything at least 1.25 speed depending on the show. Most YT at 1.5 speed. Once you start you can’t go back to 1x. Everyone talks so slowly.
I guess the new TRON movie will be pushed back
Or even just cut off his arm.
Patched CAT6 cable to nearly every room in the house. WIFI is good these days but still cant compete with good ol ethernet.
For Australia I would go with Snowtown for the bodies in barrels. Or maybe Kendall where William Tyrrell disappeared. Both towns are pretty small.
They missed an opportunity to use the spinning gear to generate its own power.
Especially the soft belly fur that they defend with extreme prejudice.
I got to see them recreating this at the Sydney Royal Easter Show a few years back. You could tell it was scripted but it was still super fun to watch.
I like letterboxd for my movie review needs. It feels more like a community.
It was already April 1st in Australia.
Interesting, I like this take. Where as we boil water multiple times a day. Americans use that bench space for their dripulator.
Curious if you have any insight as to why Americans in movies always boil water on the stove top? Australian here and we use electric Kettles. I assumed it was a 120 vs 240V thing.
I can’t see why not, if you know how to set it up. I am sure there are existing docker containers to help you out. But I am a Plex guy, not a Jellyfin expert.
In you use case I would look at Jellyfin. One of Plex’s main features is sharing across the web
Thanks! Now I am in trouble for refusing to tell my family what I laughed at…
I have been using MPC as long as I can remember. Never could make the jump to VLC. Currently run MPC-BE.
I tried that and felt I had to concentrate too hard. So I like to keep it around 1.5x. 2001 Space odyssey, I watched at 3x and it still felt slow.
