DOGE’s only purpose was to make it easy for Elon and company to steal data, and put systems in place to hold onto that access.
Its other purpose was to strip regulating agencies so billionaires would also have no enforcement to fuck up the economy and environment with no repercussions.
It was unfortunately wildly successful.

Military officers mostly have college degrees and are professionals and leadership experts. In addition to this they have extensive military training. High ranking officers are some of the most intelligent and experienced folks you will meet. Certainly more trustworthy than the majority of CEOs, politicians, and talk show hosts that have far more power than they should.
