EasyEffects has a real-time pitch filter that works for me. I don’t understand how it works, but I didn’t need to mess with audio routing, I set applications to use my mic and EasyEffects somehow still applies the filters.

AI (more specifically, LLMs) can only replicate what’s in their training data. Skynet could work as long as we don’t feed it any information from any stories that involve an AI uprising.

It’s a good thing to question your beliefs every once in a while. Sometimes people get things wrong, and sometimes ideas need re-evaluated.

The way I look at gay/trans/etc is to take MLK Jr’s advice: judge people by the content of their character.

If it comes to the point where the government is so bad that civilians have to fight against it, then the soldiers and police officers should join them.

I’ve watched enough of them that I can tell which ones are good within the first 2 seconds. The YT algorithm is crap and gives me a lot of garbage to swipe past anytime I open Shorts.

The way I see it is to choose a normal length video, say 30 minutes of content, and watch that, or to scroll through Shorts for 30 minutes and maybe find a few good ones. It’s a terrible tradeoff.

Its a difference in connotation, which is highly subjective and may or may not exist at all.

To me, “Not to mention” implies a bonus thing to consider that doesn’t need to be mentioned to form a complete thought; it’s just additional context.

On the other hand, “Not to leave out” is a crucial detail that needs to be there for everything that was said prior to make sense.

Both sayings are still mostly interchangeable, but connotation is the reason that so many synonyms exist.

As long as you have at least one straight white male character that isn’t treated like a joke by other characters you should be fine 👍

I got a PinePhone Pro to mess around / have fun with. I couldn’t get any phone features to work (calling/texting). It’s fun to install software on any low-power machine and see what works. But it’s a long way to go for a true Android replacement.
