Yeah, washing one thing is simple, but a long sequences of things to wash is ensuring to think about… There are greasy things, crusted things, that all need different methods to wash. Also, it takes a long time for the water to become hot. Then drying…

But then, once the first thing has been washed, the water is already hot and soap is already partially washing the other greasy things! Might as well do a little bit more washing while we’re at it. If i stop, i have to dry my hands and wipe the countertop…

I usually go with 1/3 cup of the same thing, it’s what works best for me! (Only addingv water and salt… It’s bland but it works)

Anything else like peanut butter, cheese, or sweet cereal with milk will screw my stomach and bowels… I keep coffee to a minimum, and drink it black.

Could be related to your body spending energy on digesting breakfast. In my case, if I eat something to fat or sweet, or with some fruits I’m intolerant, then my day is screwed…

I only got diagnosed because I was at the hospital for something else, and the local specialist noticed something was off with my behaviour. (I was there for a little while, to be fair.)

When disassembling something, always tape the loose screws onto it using marking tape or transparent packing tape (whichever doesn’t break the item’s surface.)

This way I never misplaced screws.

Hanging out with friends that are just as “non-punctual” as myself.

Accepting and embracing the fact that I’m very spontaneous in decision making.

Also, realising that this question was not about adhd in general and more about anxiety, but it’s too late to rewrite everything. Sorry! I’m one of the lucky one who doesn’t have anxiety on the bingo card…

Having taken high-dose medication, I understand that anxiety sucks, but I don’t really have tricks to share against it…

I found that habits don’t work the same for me as for NT people. I can form a habit by making the thing clearly visible, but can lose a habit just as quickly.

Hide my toothbrush one day and I’ll forget that brushing teeth is even a thing!
