My cat has like ten games that all involve hiding somewhere in the house he knows I will walk past, and ambushing me and biting me. And then running away.

He is not understimulated. He requires a minimum of 30 minutes of uninterrupted fetch a day, and frequently gets hours of it. He’s just an asshole. A hilarious asshole.

I have yet to put a hat on him but if I did he would absolutely deserve it. It would probably be a sombrero with the word “dickhead” written on it.

That’s why I’ll randomly put double sided tape on surfaces.

Being bi is literally the best of both worlds. It’s the sexual equivalent of being born wealthy.

The coastal mathematicians are just into math to screw you and take your money. The geniuses at πzo really captured the spirit of the math.

(I had to go a long way to get to πzo but I’m glad ai got there.)

My cat loves to answer my questions with a gentle bite on the leg or knee or calf. But in his defense, he only does that if the questions happen while he’s sleeping or doing a social roll.

If he’s awake, my conversation is answered with SCREAM.

I can’t imagine how insanely nice it must be to have a brain that just… makes the shit you need.

I’ve never seen it before now, and I loved it. (If you’re reading this and haven’t seen it, go watch it, because the one thing someone else mentioned in a comment would’ve been funny if I wasn’t expecting it.)

Getting lonely, getting old

It’s so insanely hard to describe the difference between life with medication, and life without.

It’s also insanely difficult to describe why I want to sleep so much on days I don’t take meds. The best I came up with is that it’s like if focus is a muscle, and you’re in muscle relaxers.

I’ve recently realized the very real and very understandable boundary that my cat had where he does not wish to be petted (and stimulated, and surprised) while sleeping, even if purring on my lap.

When I started respecting this boundary he started telling me when he wants pet time (by screaming at my face and occasionally, doing a social roll on my lap, which is insanely cute.)

Should be butterfly pasta! We’ve been robbed!

I adopted my cat because he was born angry. He wasn’t even fully weaned before he began attacking his own mother.

He loves his people as long as they don’t dare smell like a different cat. He just hates cats!

I really do love convenience!

We claimed it is erasure first, and now here’s our flag.

Anyways, why would you “spread everyone out evenly?” We stuffed them into a tiny space that was already occupied. One assumes they’d be plopped into a town, which would centralize creating things like roads.

And the roads in Montana might suck, but there should be some kind of domestic package at play that would help from the federal level to create things like roads and water treatment and all that. Compared to how much we give Isreal now… could’ve put that money into development somewhere stateside.

I worked for Walmart in the mid 2000s.

It’s not classist. That place is a hellhole. There’s a reason so many people who work there are on food stamps.

It’s classist to be mad at people who live in food deserts and can’t shop elsewhere. It’s classist to be fine with the system that puts people in jobs that don’t actually support them. It’s classist to look down on folks who get stuck in those jobs. It’s not classist for someone to be unhappy that they got stuck in such a job.

Fuck Walmart.
