I remember when I got a PSP in middle school, I thought everything was going to start using UMDs eventually since they were “universal”.

Everything about the PSP looked so high tech because it could display graphics close to PS2 quality, played tiny disks, had a wide screen, and somehow fit 32 whole megabites on a little memory card.

I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen a US cop pull someone over while going over the speed limit. Most of the time they are sitting in their cars doing fuckall. Other than getting overpaid to scroll on their phones of course.

It still amazes me when I see a huge pedestrian-annihilation-class pickup truck fly past a cop doing 90 mph in a 60 mph zone and absolutely nothing happens. I think to myself, surely they are going to get pulled over. That’s felony speeding.

Nope. That would require the cop to get off their ass and do something. The only time that happens in this country is when there’s a constitutionally protected protest happening or when someone with dark skin is in the vicinity.

I would pay so much money to watch a PPV fight between any UFC fighter and everyone in Trump’s cabinet. Starting with the president and VP, of course.

I don’t think they were shitting on power windows, but rather the lack of option for a lower priced model without them. It wasn’t too long ago that there were economy models without power windows available for certain cars.

There’s one around the White Mountains in NH that I have driven on that was 75 mph, but that is the absolute fastest I have ever seen. The same highway (I think) stayed 75 mph through the Green Mountains in VT too. Both areas are rural without a ton of drivers outside of peak tourism season, and about a 0% chance of hitting a pedestrian.

Definitely a chance of hitting a moose and totally fucking up it’s legs, ending your own life in the process. Motherfuckers have been known to walk away from many car accidents without much more than a limp. They’re tall enough where they roll over most cars and even many pickup trucks when full grown.

EDIT: Nevermind. It was I-93, which has a speed of 70 mph in the section that I drove on and I couldn’t find a 70 mph speed limit sign on that highway in VT, because it ends quickly after entering VT. Couldn’t be bothered to find where the VT highway was though.

I can still remember the gen 1 starting pokemon, anyway.

Most of the new facilities are constructed with wood and recycled aluminum, and the plans at the end are to dismantle them and reuse the components in other building projects. Its actually kind of a neat idea, but we’ll see how it actually gets implemented.
