Well to* be fair, Obama only had control of both the senate and the house for his first 72 days. Enough time to get some things done, but not a lot.

But I agree that he could have done more with the power he did hold throughout his presidency, as Trump has shown. Obama could have went buckwild with the executive orders. But alas, hindsight is 20:20.

Over 70% of the country wants him gone, but from an outsider’s perspective, all they see is the fact that we voted him in.

It’s going to take a very long time to undo the damage caused by Trump. Nobody is ever going to trust the United States again, unless we put safeguards in place to ensure that someone like him can never gain this level of unchecked power ever again. And I just don’t see that happening in any of our lifetimes.

IMO any date standard other than ISO 8601 is wrong too. Year-Month-Date makes the most sense from a chronological standpoint. Also makes sorting files by date easier.

Well like I said to the other person, it’s not a “I think the US is superior” thing; very much the opposite. I simply have autism. (ADHD too but that’s not relevant here.)

It’s also annoying when Europeans swap the comma and decimal on currency amounts too, especially given that you don’t do that when writing sentences. Few things more infuriating than seeing an amount written out like 2.999,95€! Where are your manners!?

That’s the problem.

Stupid people will just take the answer it spits out at face value, rather than being skeptical and calling it out on its lies. And even that can be a problem in of itself, because if you pressure it enough, it will eventually tell you want what you want to hear, no matter how wrong you are.

Now that you pointed it out, this annoys me more than people who put the currency sign after the amount.
