It’s all the hyperprocessed fat and sugar in their eyes, they can’t see straight.
“Netanyahu? More like Genocidetoyou, amirite?”
“wtf bro that’s antisemitic!!!”
No no, they’re not considering suicide, they’re just applying to pilot those F-18 submarines!

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Which machine or technical sounds do you enjoy, which do you find annoying?
13·7 days agoI love the clickity clack of old IBM Model M keyboards. Typewriters’ typing sound is also oddly relaxing to me, the *ding* on a new line carry was lovely, too.

I suspect a TV channel in any civilized place would avoid showing an advert for an obvious scam (the fake AI celebrity endorsement) because that would, at least, destroy their reputation, or even get sued for not vetting the content.
My worry was less with servers and more with interest, much like how some torrents are dead because there are zero seeds. I suppose the author of projects might remain as the sole seed for a longer period than the mirror seeds, but there are many that can be abandoned by the single dev for whatever reason

Interesting. Sounds like a Freenet solution, but with git in mind.
P2P proves yet again to be the best solution for availability problems. At least until the seeds disappear, which happens because storage isn’t infinite.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is a web browser using another scripting language feasible?
5·18 days agoBut that was something that had to be installed on the system and integrated into the browser, not quite what i’m asking as it wasn’t an alternative browser per se

Ok, and what exactly is this thing for?
