This reads like it never even went to trial. The article says a jury “failed to indict” and the man was “never charged”.

I’m assuming it was a grand jury and somehow a bare majority or jurors couldn’t find cause to charge the man (who—at minimum—pointed a gun at his daughter’s chest and pulled the trigger) with any crime whatsoever.

Depressingly, the minds that matter in this case are those of the portion of the US electorate who voted for him.

I promise that voting block is more likely to be appalled by verified sexually abuse of minors, than they would be of military/colonial activities.

I think when you have just been “given” everything your entire life, the concept of “earning” something is incomprehensible.

When it goes to a person who lived out the ideals of peace, the despot quickly sends his cartoonishly overpowered military to her country, conquers it, and then the despot with his nigh-omnipotent forces pressures the principled woman into forfeiting the “peace” prize to him.

The aging despot finally gets his “Peace Prize” through force inspired by racism.

I will compliment the article’s author for using direct quotes from Trump.

Too often, the press tend to clean up his grammar so it makes sense and doesn’t seem so offensive to the literate.

Direct quotes like “watch his ass” and “got bum-rushed right so fast that he didn’t get into that” help convey not only Trump’s sentiment, but how god-awful ignorant the fuckwit is.
