I did a little digging and it looks like the problems were limited to ASRock motherboards paired with Ryzen 9000 series chips, and they claim they fixed it with a BIOS update. And yeah, if you’re not overly concerned with cable management then a semi-modular will do the job and cost less.
Built in 2019, with some upgrades here and there:
MOBO: Asus X570-E Gaming WiFi CPU: RYZEN 5800X3d GPU: Radeon 6700XT OS Drive: 2 TB WD NVME Power Supply: Corsair 1000W
Looking at your list I’d consider a couple of things:
do some research on the Motherboard. I have a vague recollection of ASRock having problems lately. Not sure what models or anything.
consider a fully modular power supply if you’re at all concerned about clutter inside your case. You might also look up the recommended PSU wattage for that GPU. I don’t know much about the Lisuan specifically, but a lot of them recommend at least 750W.
I’ve never heard any politician brag about raising taxes before. I would say our kids and grandkids will be really confused when they study this in history class, but it’s hard to imagine there will still be history classes when climate change makes the earth largely uninhabitable.
Same. I miss using the mouse as a browser back button.
I don’t understand all the excitement about KDE…I tried it out on a VM and I was, at best, underwhelmed. It just felt too busy.
Dunno, maybe an intelligence officer has unique skills suitable for resisting a KGB asset President 🤷♂️

It actually is kinda Biden’s fault. See, under Biden, the economy actually grew last year, which is why this makes Trump look so bad.
Maybe the democrats need to ditch pro-oligarchy anti-woke members 🤷♂️
Something is really breaking down and I think social media is at the center of it.
I feel like you could apply this to almost every societal crisis we’re facing. It’s like social media took every little crack in the foundation and turned it into a chasm.
I cloned my Windows 10 install from one SSD to a bigger one. I left both drives in, told the BIOS to boot from the new one, and everything worked fine…until I wiped the old one. The next time I restarted my PC it wouldn’t boot anymore. Windows must’ve been looking for something on that drive that wasn’t there anymore. Luckily I had made a backup, so I popped in a USB with Windows 10, went into recovery mode, and told it to restore from backup. After that everything works fine again, even with the old drive being empty.
Looking back on it I may have been able to fix it with a bootrec.exe/fixmbr command, but it didn’t occur to me at the time.
If we’re talking about the USA specifically, then the answer is yes. The Bill of Rights applies to everyone.
Love the commitment to the cause
Aww bummer. Sorry I don’t have any better advice :/
I’ll check it out, thanks!
