Pretty much any non-Marxist economists will favor “the market” over workers.

Just going to point out that “the market” is people’s freedom of choice compounded across society.

Neoliberalism, the predominant ideology in most western countries, is seen as an alternative to conservatism (very much so in the US), but they’re centrists at best, and conservative-lite at worst.

It’s almost like political parties are tied to the values of their voters.

If you’re completely exhausted after your day it’s possible something deeper is going on

Poor in my mind is not having basic necessities. At $30/h here you could definitely like… own a house, pay all your bills, buy groceries, pay for a vehicle, and still have like… $500+ left in your budget on a single income.

Average wage in my area is around $30/h.

I got pissed, immediately drove to the clinic where I got my referral, got a doctor, and told him I wanted another referral for a second opinion, told him the psychiatrist’s opinion didn’t make sense to me. He told me it’s subjective, and said I could do a self assement. I haven’t done it yet haha, but I’d recommend pushing the subject.

I learned recently that teachers in my area actually make decent money. Not like… Tech industry money, but for my area they make $30/h on the low end, $43/h median, and $52.60/h on the high end.

That’s a decent living that most people don’t experience. I’m sure some places are awful for teachers though.

People are allowed to not care about my gender. I enjoy the content, but yeah!

Like if the worst thing someone has to say about my gender is “I don’t care”… Fucking eh! That’s actually like… Kind of the ideal for me haha.
