Still is, but you nailed it. People wanted a criminal rapist who was best friends with the world’s most notorious child predator. None of what he is, was remotely hidden, every bit of it was clear and obvious. Everything that he’s doing, is things he said he would do.

It’s still the people’s job to hold them accountable, but most people you know just wanted this (if folks couldn’t be fucked to stop this, they gave it a default stamp of approval).

Because they realize that rules are just words on paper. They mean precisely nothing when the people in charge of enforcing them are the ones who are breaking them.

He deserves a goddamned posthumous award. There will never a death more ‘billionaire’ than this. I mean this is cartoon level, over the top, absurdist level perfection.

I mean tell me, if you just saw the headline “Man dies after swallowing a bee at a Polo match” that your reaction is anything but “I wonder which billionaire that was.”

It’s beginning to feel like that rapist was elected specifically to protect the child predators.

I wish I could disagree but every day when I try to talk about it, or get people to do something about it with me, so far 100% of time I get pushback for being alarmist, or that it’s fine, we’ll just vote better next time.

It’s more than just the apathy, it’s willing apathy, desired apathy, WEAPONOZED apathy. That’s the problem, those in control know they are working against the will of the people, but they also know the people are to scared, distracted, lazy and stupid to do anything about it.

I don’t know why obvious propaganda works on so many people. People I assumed had functional brains, just turn them off whenever the online. It’s fucking maddening, and I don’t see any way to combat it.

Well said, I had the exact same thought experience, and I am at the exact same conclusion.

There’s more to it than that but of course that is a large part of it. We live in a society that prefers to reward a confident idiot to a pensive expert; essentially we reward dunning krueger.

When exactly did society decide to give the dumbest people on earth, all the money?

I don’t know why people think rules still apply. They might say something but they came out 9-0 against him and he still claims a unanimous victory and the courts, media and American public all just shrug.

Unfortunately much of this country has developed a vaccine for this apparently.

This does help, and thank you. In truth, I don’t even want medication, I’m middle aged and this is the brain I’m used to. Would just be nice to understand myself a little better and maybe start getting some better strategies in place.

It’s just grating that every time I ask, I’m redirected. Maybe they just think I’m pill seeking.
