    Common problem with a lot of meds, including antidepressants and antipsychotics. I knew someone who didn’t want to take their meds because it made them fat, and that was to counteract delusions and paranoia from schizophrenia. It’s been decades, so I think the meds are better but the point is, yeah, lots of people have to pick and even if the side effects are less bad, you’re actively having to choose to cause that to yourself.

      Totally. And for me, I’m able to (at least appear to) be an upstanding, productive member of society without ADHD meds, so I can get away with not taking them.
