A Kansas law that took effect earlier this year suddenly invalidated the driver’s licenses and birth certificates of transgender people who had changed their gender markers. It also banned people from using public bathrooms that don’t match their sex assigned at birth — and lets people sue others they believe are violating the law.

    Yes. Also, the answer to: have conservatives embraced fascism? The answer is also yes. Same for: is it okay to refer to these people as Nazis? Godwin’s Law was suspended in tiny d’s first term.

      Godwin’s law never meant we shouldnt call Nazis Nazis.

      It just pointed out that once you’ve labeled someone a Nazi any further conversation is likely pointless. Which is understandable for inaccurate accusations and undeniable for accurate ones.
