You know how most people (in non-English speaking Europe) are severely underinformed wrt how bad things are in the USA?
I just realized that UFC on the White House lawn is one of the few things that will get global mainstream media attention. And once again people will say “quaint, but hardly fascist”.
Ask them? I’m not from the US either. But I’m severely overinformed because of reddit-style fediverse with a huge percentage of American and generally English-speaking people.
FWIW, I don’t think the gen pop has turned fascist in large numbers - yet.

How bad is it? Asking because I got family on the southern east coast that I haven’t visited in ages. And the current political climate isn’t helping.
