minus-squareDagnet@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·5 hours agoWasn’t taught when I went to flight school, or in any country AFAIK. Meanwhile VFR are taught to pretty much every single pilot today and they need to fly using them before learning instrument flight, that is all over the world.
Celestial navigation is still taught. Hard to use in certain weather conditions though.
