Someone offered to be my beard, it would be actually harder for me to get a greencard through another marriage. not only I’ll have to start from scratch and wait another 6 months to 2 years, but we will be questioned and they would be criminaly liable.

on top of that the American partner will have to have a certain income, and will have to cover all my debts even if we divorce immediately after getting the greencard.

it’s a very shitty system designed to be terrible.
