I don’t take it personally or anything but just kind of seems like I can’t go to different communities and they already know who I am or something. And no that was not a poor me crap. I know I post a lot but 99% Is just trying to start up a conversation or a discussion. Personally I do not see anything wrong with that? Feel free to look at my post history or whatever and tell me what I can fix? Or do to better engage with people?

I do know that I have a fan, probably someone I blocked, that takes the time to downvote every single post and reply I make. Doesn’t matter the community. Doesn’t matter what I say.
Lemmy and related places are still small enough where a regular name posting can become better known faster than large platforms. My only advice is to just review your posts before first submitting to make sure its message is clear, and if people ask questions about it, then clarify. If you want to engage and discuss things, this is part of it. You’re getting discussion. :)

I gave 20 years of my life giving what other people think maybe its a mid life crisis or something. But teachers, friends, associates, co-workers, bosses, family all told me what to do. Now I just don’t give a shit. Now I am ritefully medicated (longer story) I just don’t give a fuck. I pretty much burnt all the bridges except for family and just don’t care. You have no idea how much a load off my shoulders that is. I used to drink alot to get thru the icky parts of school. Now I gave up the hard liquor and just drink beer and smoke Camel Silvers once in a while. I think the majority of it is either people don;t get how I can no give a shit about anything. Or they are just jealous. Now yes I do stuff to antagonize people somewhat kind of like Lenard Nemoy in Bruno Mars Lazy Song. I was so hung up on people who glanced at me thinking they were looking at a flaw or something. Or my clothes did not match. Or hated all Nurses after covid. Now I get look and just don’t care. I kinda feel sorry for them that they are the way I was. But one day I may do an ELI5 of explaining how a troll or whoever gets off by baiting or stoking a fight.
