I’m more surprised that a co-op of that size is even a thing, unless I’m missing something usually they become something like a syndicalist system with an elective structure to run things. But I guess it depends how localized everything is, could get away with just not having higher structures than managers if you organized things right.
It’s a coop, not a neighborhood. It takes effort to become a member and they do regular shifts. It’s an investment of sorts.
