Who owns the ISPs? The internet is becoming more corporate every day, while surveillance capacities have exploded.
Also, much non-traditional media is often just straight-up useless. Perhaps a little better than corporate media, but with a strong bias to a particular cause.
I really like The Drea Dossier. Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Benn Jordan (flashbulb). Zeteo with Mehdi Hasan, and a few others who I can’t recall now.
That matters less and less as time goes on. People aren’t really getting much news from traditional media anymore. They’ve made themselves irrelevant.
