    Plastics are amazing and are extremely useful. Unfortunately they’re bad for the environment.

      Yeah true, but had to be concise. For certain applications plastics are 100% the way to go, so not perfect analogy. But for plenty of other applications they are worse than wood, metal, and glass

    It’s not cheap, though. They are burning billions and as far as I know, not a single company has managed to turn in profit yet, and are still in the Uber phase.

    It will get a lot worse.

    There has always been a tendency to switch to methods of doing things that are easier and worse. That does not make it okay, but it is a consistent pattern.

    I like it. Screw the brain, it’ll be worse. Eventually there will AI Coffee Machines and I will hitch hike to silicon valley find the person that made it and punch them
