I think there’s a difference in finding major corruption charges and publicly releasing them vs billionaires just dying of “mysterious” illnesses, etc. China reserves that sort of death for violators of the one China policy where scrutiny isn’t going to have financial resources on its side. Credit where it’s due, billionaire money isn’t the end all be all factor because China will just take it… something the US should do too when billionaires violate the law.
