Iran is trying to force shippers to comply with a new protocol for transiting the Strait of Hormuz — or risk attack.

Tehran has laid out a set of new rules for vessels seeking to transit the strait, according to a document seen by CNN, pressing ahead with efforts to formalize control over the waterway in defiance of US warnings.

Entitled “Vessel Information Declaration,” the document is an application form issued by Iran’s newly created Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) and must be completed by all transiting vessels to ensure safe passage. It was shared with CNN by Lloyds List and another shipping industry source who wished to remain anonymous.

When this is all over Iran is going to have way more, and way more formalized, control over that strait than it ever did before this Epstein-distraction war ever started.

The USA is really good at losing wars, but this loss is going to be epic.

Not just that; the USA will have lost its reputation as the “world police” while Iran will now have a reputation as a country that stood up to their bully and won. Just like with Ukraine and Russia, the mighty are falling, and it’s going to be an interesting new world order.

Except the Ukrainian rulers are bending over backwards to suck up to and support the US and Israel in this war and everything else.

It’s just mind boggling the level of incompetence.

Also the Gulf states must be absolutely pissed since all they got out of this was that they got bombed, they can’t sell their oil anymore and when this is over Iran is most likely going to have even more control over the straight. I wonder if the Saudis are going to ask the Trump spawns for their money back.

Saudis and Irak do have pipelines to Europe and safer ports, build incase of shit like this, but there is still the issue of volumes.
